SAT prep built for the digital, adaptive test.

One-on-one SAT prep with me, Nico — my students typically gain around 150 points. The digital SAT adapts to your student: do well on the first module and the second gets harder, which is exactly where the top scores live. We train for the harder branch on purpose.

we train for the harder branch — Nico

The digital SAT, section by section

Two sections, four modules, about 2 hours 14 minutes, scored 400–1600. It's fully on computer, and the built-in Desmos graphing calculator is allowed on every math question — so calculator fluency is now a scoring skill we train deliberately.

The adaptive structure is the strategic heart of it: your student's accuracy on each first module decides whether their second module is the harder, high-ceiling one. Careless early mistakes don't just cost points — they cap the maximum.

Offered about seven times a year; most juniors sit it in spring with a fall retake in reserve.

How I teach the SAT

The digital SAT rewards a specific kind of preparation: accuracy early, calculator fluency always, and calm under a clock that gives you more time per question than you'd expect — if you don't waste it.

Protect module one

Accuracy on the first module unlocks the harder second module — and the top scores. We drill early-question discipline until careless errors stop happening.

Desmos as a weapon

The built-in calculator can graph its way through problems most students grind by hand. Knowing when to reach for it is worth real points.

Real modules, every week

Timed digital practice weekly, reviewed line by line — and you get a note from me after every session, so you always know the trajectory.

SAT questions parents ask

If yours isn't here, call me — the consultation is free and I answer my own phone.

It's shorter — about 2 hours 14 minutes — fully on computer, and adaptive: how your student does on each section's first module decides whether the second module is harder or easier.

The harder second module is where top scores live, which changes how you prepare. A calculator (the built-in Desmos) is allowed on every math question, so calculator fluency is now a scoring skill, not a crutch.
